We are located on Koh Wai Island in the Eastern Gulf of Thailand. We offer 39 private rooms, each with private shower and toilet, mosquito net and fans. Water is available 24 hours, and electricity 24 hours a day.

At Koh Wai Pakarang Resort, we have 38 bungalows, some of which are traditionally constructed wooden buildings and the other buildings are more modern,constructed from concrete.

All bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Cleanliness is a priority and our staff ensure that all of our accomodation meets our high quality standards.

Our bungalows are all equipped with bathrooms [with showers] double-beds and wardrobes. Every room has either an overhead fan or a free-standing fan provided.

There are also "family bungalows" which are larger in size, and have two double-beds located inside.

Each room also has electrical power sockets and lighting*. Electricity operates 24 hours a day.

Convenience Store In addition to our operational resort services we provide the added convenience of a small store. We stock a wide variety of beverages, snacks, personal hygiene and safety products.

We have two restaurant/dining areas in our resort - the first one is located next to the service counter, and the second is located in the "floating house". Food may also be served on the beach, or in a guests bungalow.

Located Near The capital of Thailand, along the eastern seaboard of the Gulf of Thailand are situated some of the country's best beach and islands. Koh Samet and Koh Chang are two of the largest and most well known island in this area.

The Koh Chang National Marine Park is composed of 52 different islands, some uninhabited and only a few with accommodation.

About 45 minutes by boat south of Koh Chang, the small island of Koh Wai is one of the most beautiful islands in the entire archipelago. Fringed by a magnificent coral reef, Koh Wai has numerous sandy beach and private coves, as well as trails around the island.

There are two options for customers to travel to the resort, as detailed below.

One : Go by Koh Chang.
Travel Directions to Koh Wai Pakarang

From Laem-Ngob they have the ferry from Centre Point Pier to go to Koh Chang in every 1 hour, from 6:00am - 7:00pm. After you get in Koh Chang you have to take taxi (Song Theaw) from the ferry pier to Bang Boa pier - a trip that takes about half an hour.

And there are 3 scheduled trips from Bang Boa Pier to go to Koh Wai, leaving Bang Boa pier at 8:00am, 9:00am, and 12:00pm. It takes 1 hour to travel from Bang Boa to the Koh Wai Pakarang Resort. The price is 250 baht per person.

Two : Go straight from Laem-Ngob to Koh Wai.

From Trad you have to take taxi (Song Thaew) to Laem-Ngob at Krom Luang Pier.

Our Resort boat service takes customers from Laem-Ngob [Krom Luang Pier] everyday, just one time daily at 03:00pm. The cost is 250 baht per person, and the trip takes about 2 and a half hours from Krom Luang Pier to our resort and you will arrive at the resort about 5:30pm.

Our boat will run everyday and charge 250 baht per time and person as we will leave Koh Wai Pakarang resort in every morning at 08:00 and will arrive at Krom Luang Pier at Laem Ngob about 10:30. The boat will travel back to the Koh Wai Pakarang resort, leaving Krom Luang Pier at 3:00pm.
